Actually they are... Sure they are popular now, but they were THE BIGGEST band in the world back in 2001-2003. I've been following them since HT and the decline in popularity is visible with every new release.

A Thousand Suns was my favorite album for the longest time, it probably always will be. But lately I've been listening to a lot of Minutes To Midnight and Living Things. I wasn't the biggest fan of Lies Greed Misery, and it took me awhile to like Burn It Down, and I'm still not 100% on Victimized but I think Roads Untraveled is a beautiful song and more and more tracks on the album are starting to grow on me.
If they still make music that I love, then their "popularity" continues to remain irrelevant to me. I'll listen to a band/musician because I like what they do, not because of how popular they are or because of who else likes them.
I always love whatever they release. so i dont give a shit if they're popular or not but guess what, they're still popular.
Now that LT is boring the shit out of me, I started listening to ATS again. It feels so fresh after not listening to it for quite a while. It is definitely high up on my list of favorite albums of all time.
