Definitely one of the things about Thirty Second to Mars for sure. Jared is brilliant live but does tend to want to get the crowd involved. It's like a 50/50, one side has the audience involved with the show but the other has Jared skipping lines and what-not.
Yeah, I'm not saying he sounds bad, he sounds great. When he actually sings haha. The man was letting the crowd sing every single chorus of several songs, lol. I love crowd participation and singing along, it's my favorite part of any show, but having them sing the majority of the songs is a little much.
I like it better when the crowd sings though, especially during songs like "Vox Populi", "Closer to the Edge" and "Kings and Queens". I guess in a way Thirty Seconds are the ultimate crowd band, almost level to Coldplay on how loud the crowd is when they sing. Granted I haven't seen thirty seconds live, but god Coldplay's crowd is loud. Judging by Reading 2011 though, i think they might be louder!
We're not necessarily saying it is a bad thing, but to an extent, Jared does "hand it to the crowd" a little more than he probably should.
Bump. is there seriously, like, ZERO hype for this? Besides Daft Punk, it's the only thing I'm actually fan-boying over!
d I'm sure when more news arises about the new album there will be more posts in the thread. No use building hype on something without any real information being given out for the time being.
What I've comprehended is that Up In the Air is the title of the first single, not the entire album. I don't think we've gotten an album title yet... 18th actually. Well, for Americans I guess 19th for the rest of us... xD
On YouTube, there is up in the air acoustic performance audio from VyRT. I son't know how to embed videos, but someone needs to post that.
Up in the Air will make it's live debut on air tommorow at 11 AM (PDT) or 2 PM (eastern) http://bit.ly/XdNF7F?cc=bc0dbaf5df4188d4806ed7b4b85973c5
10:30AM my time I believe. I don't think I'll be able to tune in live but hopefully someone will record it.
Wait... We know that "Up in the Air" will be released on DD in the United States on March 19, but when does it come out for us Ozzies? March 19 comes in just under 7 hours! Will it randomly appear on iTunes tomorrow night our time perhaps?
