I thought I had a good idea, but nothing is panning out from it... It's really hard when you don't have atleast an acapella or an instrumental on one end... Back to the drawing board, I guess...
I'm going to try to enter this month. It's probably going to sound like complete shit, but it's worth a try at least.
I can't wait to hear what you got! I still remember my first entry abomination. The more you do it and the harder you try, the better your outcome. Unless you're a natural. In that case, fuck you.
I have a really good idea for this, but I can't find the year of a perticular song was made. That means I will have 2 entries ready incase one doesn't qualify.
What song is it? If you're unsure if a song qualifies, you can post in here and one of us will let you know.
This. Dont be afraid to ask. I had to ask if a particular band was okay to use this month. Even though my idea has since shifted, it never hurts to ask.
this is my first entry here, hope u like it: Falling Away From Me vs. Victimized http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EA0DKUhJa8g I can't to upload in soundcloud for the copyright :/ ENJOY!
Cool theme but I would of preferred "90's music" instead of just being restricted to rock. Can we do 80's pop next? Pretty please with gummy bears on top?
So can I add a swarmatron with the mash-up as extra (meaning can I add extras)? Linkin Park vs Trent Reznor (Pre With Teeth)...
Here we go: I hope you consider Jumper to be a 90's Rock song and you like what I did here: Third Eye Blind x LP http://soundcloud.com/robertgz/jumper-x-the-messenger-x-lite
The timing of the two tracks is perfect and the key is almost exactly the same. This is awesome. Would've never thought of these two songs together but now that I've heard it, it's so perfect it can't be unheard. Nice idea!
https://soundcloud.com/reflectionist/lpa-monthly-mix-up-entry-april-2013-reflectionist Here's my entry. It was tough without a full instrumental of this song, but it fit so well, and sounds great! So I cheesed the rest of the song. (Would be a lot better if Chester's vox didn't have so much glitch in them; kinda ruins the acoustic rock feel.)
