Sort of, at this point it's not official for them to call themselves STP including Chester because of all the lawsuit crap. It's just semantics on this case but, it does no harm to mention. In a world where digital music has such high presence, and with that the expansion of illegal downloads, you would expect EVERY album not to have the same figures it could've had from early 2000's backwards.
Why???? im talking about me. But if anyone get offended i apologize. All im saying is that an infraction is too much, but ok ill take it.
ATS is polarizing, I'll admit it. Really excited about STP w/CB thing, though. Sounds like a great idea for both Chester and Linkin Park.
We all are old enough here to notice disrespectful irony, and if you get an infraction it's not because of that action alone but because you have continuously ignored the multiple warnings the Admin has given you. It will not be tolerated any further.
What Andreina said. It's not the comments themselves as it is your insistence in derailing STP threads with sarcasm/irony after you were asked repeatedly to stop.
I didn know you had become an administrator to be throwing warnings. An good for the people attending to this events. I hope we can see more dates for LP shows for the end of the year.
No but I do know the rules. And on previous threads Derek, along with fellow members and staff had already told you and other whiners to stop it, you obviously didn't listen. You don't have to be a staff member to know the rules or promote good behaviour to other members, it's for the good of the community.
This. I'm not a staff member (yet) and I have been basically telling you the same thing for over the past month or so, wolf.
LP is still his priority. No LP shows were moved or modified for this show to happen Follow the rules and you won't have that problem.
Why is it that every STP thread I visit, it gets derailed? On topic : I wonder if there will be DSPs with STP...
I think "Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington" is the name of this group now. The members of STP have made it a point to introduce themselves as just "Stone Temple Pilots". Now, the official STP site goes and calls themselves "Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington". It seems like the lawsuit was settled with the slight name change. As well Weiland did have the rights to some of their music if I'm not mistaken, and the fact that STP is touring now seems that he's cooled off a bit.
Is it that hard to figure out? Just stay out of STP threads and make absolutely no comment about STP unless it adds to the conversation, doesn't derail the thread and isn't posted merely for the purpose of trashing STP for the 1000th time (which might I add, if people are posting in here, they give absolutely zero fucks if you like STP or not). That's it, that's all. It's really not that hard.
I'm sensing a pattern here ... Would they even have the resources to make something like that happen? In any case, I doubt that they will. Stone Temple Pilots don't come off as the sort of technology-oriented band that Linkin Park are and even LP haven't been releasing the recordings from their shows as of late
The majority of the users here are a nice group of people. As long as you follow the rules of the forum, people will be nice. Welcome to the LPA and I apologize on behalf of everyone here that one of your first impressions of our forums is of everyone having to deal with a user that has had a recent history of being disrespectful to both other users (and staff) here as well as the rules of the forum.
