I kinda wanted to bring some attention to this story because I found it particular disgusting what they're doing to this poor girl. Maybe because it hits so close to home for me. Here's the full updated story So basically one snobby parent didn't get her way when she found about this girl and reported her to this Christian media news outlet who then illegally printed her identity and reported baseless lies about her harassing students when there had been no such case and then after it came out that they lied they said her being the way she is is harassment enough. Since putting her in public view she continually been harassed by them and others including some saying she should be put to death. I just found all this rather horrifying and knowing how tough it can be to be in that position in high school I really feel for this girl.
I read about this and it is very shameful and disgusting. It upsets me greatly how such bigotry is still occurring.

That's horrible. But what does being on 'suicide watch' mean? I've heard the term before, but I don't know exactly what happens. Do they put people in the hospital, or just make parents look at the people while at home? I'm clueless.
Unfortunately some religious people are and always will be completely oblivious to other people's feelings, namely those who are different to them. It's a shocking story but not a surprising one.
It's basically you're under supervision for 24/7 and anything you could harm yourself with is taken away.
