This is my first time entering a Monthly Mix-Up. I made this There They Go remix exclusively for the competition. I hope you all enjoy.

Zak (aka Simple Automaton) did the piano melody throughout the track.

Anyways, I've been into resampling lately so I thought it'd be fun to make a remix around that. I started off with the sample from Bruno Mars' "Natalie" and built the remix around that sample. The remix doesn't sound big in any way but I think keeping it rather simple works in this case. This isn't the final version, though, but I don't think I'll be making lots of changes.

Will I be disqualified for substituting my own voice for a Fort Minor acapella that doesn't exist?

 

Final version. No real noticable changes. Anyways, had fun making this

 

It was just that the DIY version I got had some pretty clear verses, but the chorus was off in 3500k level. Just weird phase cancellation. So I thought I'd go back over them with my own voice and try to blend it in with Mike's. But I wouldn't need to do anything to the verses or the bridge. I think.

i listened all the entries, and i gotta say that this month is pretty amazing, I really wanted to participate this time but i couldn't.
