Living Things songs on other albums!

I think "Tinfoil" does sound like something that could have been a Hybrid Theory or Meteora demo, though.

 

I'll just go ahead and agree with this post. I would've used the same reasoning.

 

I always looked at most tracks from Living Things as a combination of two albums' sounds.

For example, Lost In The Echo primarily reminds me of Hybrid Theory, but it has that ATS essence to it, with all the electronics.

So,

Lost In The Echo - Hybrid Theory + A Thousand Suns
In My Remains - Meteora + Minutes to Midnight
Burn It Down - A Thousand Suns + Metoera
Lies Greed Misery - Meteora + A Thousand Suns
I'll Be Gone - Minutes to Midnight + A Thousand Suns
Castle of Glass - A Thousand Suns
Victmized - Hybrid Theory + A Thousand Suns (The Synth work has that Wretches and Kings/When They Come For Me vibe.)
Roads Untraveled - Minutes to Midnight
Skin To Bone - A Thousand Suns + Minutes to Midnight. (ATS' Electronics and the vocal style being quite similar to that of MTM's.)
Until It Breaks - I don't think this could have fit it any album. Unexplored territory. A Thousand Suns comes close.
Tinfoil - I could see this track fit in A Thousand Suns and Metoera, both.
Powerless - Minutes to Midnight + A Thousand Suns

 

Yeah you are right, its like ATS and Hybrid Theory mixed up together, well spotted Arachnids

 

Living Things is just ATS Part II with some HT/Meteora-like structure and elements, and some MTM-like songs.
