I agree, it'll probably build up to the last chorus being the loudest or that the song gets louder towards the end, kind of like Valentine's Day!
The snippet doesn't really remind me of the atmosphere of ATS at all, but I have heard 15 seconds of the song, so I know nothing about it at this point, like everyone else. This snippet really doesn't remind me of any other LP song or album, just like GATS. I think this album will be super original in terms of LP music.
Loved the preview. I'm one in favor of synths over guitars because it can add an interesting touch to the music if it follows a different pattern than the guitars
There are certain LP songs that just give off that "Linkin Park vibe", where you immediately know it's them when you hear it. I feel that from this snippet.
