Brad is quite capable of playing simpler riffs and powerchords, as we've witnessed over the years. As much as I enjoy his guitar work, there are no doubt other guitarists who have done more and have created unique sounds, like Tom Morello in that solo. However, GATS has indicated that Brad has ditched simplistic patterns for more intricate pieces. I have a hunch that Brad may have taken cues from Morello and Malakian and is really going to surprise/impress us this time around.

I do too! I love Linkin Park and their music. I think every album they release is very good. I think The Hunting Party will be the best album they have put out yet.

Why do you need a pie chart of song lengths? I mean... they're not hard to differentiate.

Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries.

Imagine Dragons need to come out with an album already, this will be their fourth single since Night Visions.

"Monster," "Who We Are," and "Ready, Aim, Fire" were all not on Night Visions. This TF4 single would be the fourth single since Night Visions (plus that Kendrick Lamar remix).

Tom Morello is that good? Holy shit, that solo was amazing. Can't wait for Drawbar.

    Why, yes he is!

Some of my favorites from him:

Some kid in my dorm tried playing this solo once. He failed miserably.

This one is just a classic solo.

And, of course, the Tom Morello guitar battle in Guitar Hero 3 is fucking awesome.

I've definitely become interested in Rage Against the Machine ever since Tom Morello was unveiled as a guest. I plan to listen to all of their first album soon. I heard "Bombtrack" and thought it was pretty cool. I also listened to the majority of SOAD's first album and plan to finish that at some point.

Rage's self-titled, and SOAD's Toxicity are both fantastic places to start.
