Random thought @ this video; Could it be that Linkin Park made 'Until It's Gone' real Numb'like, pop, to show the record company that they don't know what they've got till it's gone? This will be a great album me thinks. Linkin Park's 'Wish You Were Here' with Tom Morello and Daron Malakian. Thank God for bands like Linkin Park, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Muse, RatM, SoaD, all grunge bands and alternative rock of the 90s.
Where's that awesome sword? I want to see a music video with the look and style of these photos. Not UIG though.
Are they shooting for Until It's Gone music video? based on the scene where they are holding baseball bats?
If they are shooting a UIG music video, that wasn't it. This was the photo shoot for the album promotion. These photos may be included in some of the album booklets or given out to magazines and stuff when the album is released. Strictly for promo I'd say. They also mentioned in the video that it may be incorporated into the tour when that comes around later this summer, so we'll see
They look like they hardly changed from 2012 besides Brad. Remember in 2010-11 when Mike had long hair and Joe looked like a 45 year old samurai? Haha. Great little video, something new to get rid of the preorder thing on the top of the homepage.
Love the instrumental song intro of this song. If only they made UIG's background a bit louder, people would've probably dug the track a lot more. It's beautiful and the instrumental is a clear indication of it. I don't think I've heard a song that sounds this crazy atmospherically from LP in a long time. It would've been more noticeable to people listening on lower quality versions and YouTube.
Remember the "1...2...3..." or something Instagram with Joe directing them? The set is pretty similar, and Joe is kinda telling them to turn to the camera after looking at different directions.. I think it is the one where they sit at the table with weapons on it. I'm pretty sure that's a music video lol. I meant.. http://instagram.com/p/nYnl1vi4Vj/
Why do the illustrations look so much better than the finished product. Fuck I'd pay extra to have an album with that on it.
I hope that turns into a music video, not just for promotional purpose. They look like they are going to beat the crap of someone with them weapons. And where is that awesome sword of Chester?
Wouldn't it be crazy, if LP made nothing but heavy albums, for the rest of the time they're together? I doubt that will happen, but it's a fun thought, so long as they keep it interesting.
I say this every time, but I think the 2007 LP I loved are making a comeback. Hope we get a good making of documentary.
I have to agree with this. He is specifically direction motion, rather than just telling them where to look. Having said that, if I take what he says at the end of the video to mean some of this stuff could appear as on-screen stage visualisations for the upcoming tour - that could also explain it
Yeah I'm thinking either some promotional footage and/or visuals for the tour. Which makes me incredibly excited to see them live! (hoooping for a European tour in the fall/winter). Anyway, I love this photo shoot! Way better than the one for LT.
Anyone notices at 1:28 Mike is holding the iPad upside down? EDIT: MAYBE THAT'S WHY THE COVER IS POINTING DOWNWARDS INSTEAD OF UPWARDS.
