Godzilla

The trailers for the film keep putting me off because of the use of the 2001: A Space Odyssey music. I freak the fuck out and start seeing the stargate whenever I listen to that! Besides that, looking forward to this movie!

saw it last night

it was awesome, and the acting from cranston was insanely good

i saw it in imax 3D, and if you can i'd advise you all too because holy shit there was some good set-pieces

my only gripes are that there's too much focus on the military and taylor-johnson's character, and not enough focus on cranston's character, i found him a lot more interesting

also, don't go in expecting huge-ass monster on monster battles for the whole film, there is devastation and p much action from start to finish, but tbh there's only one real extended godzilla v muto fight, which is like 90 minutes+ in

but when it comes, it's fucking awesome

yeah, it was great... id give it like an 8.5/10

Yeah, I didn't get to say this in the review because it was getting overly long, but another cool thing (which idk if it's been mentioned in this thread yet) was the rendering of the Godzilla-MUTO fights. The CGI "animators" must've watched footage of bears fighting, because that shit looked real and animalistic.
