Today, Linkin Park played on the Rock in Rio Festival in Lisbon, Portugal, and fan Tiago Rodrigues was one of the lucky fans to get his hands on a CD that contains the studio version of "Wastelands" during the Meet and Greet, check the Youtube audio below!

The CD rip is the album version which has the extended lead in into Until It's Gone, which the lyric video omits.

I LOVE those fucking drums. It's groovy as hell.

Also, I really like the way the guitar is mixed. It gives the song a really big feel.

Too bad the audio quality is shit.

The Hunting Party is shaping up to be a really great album. I LOVE GATS, UIG and Wastelands. COME AT ME LPAers!

What a difference the studio quality makes Thought it was badass before anyway, but this is awesome.

You have obviously not listened to much Rock music, or any form of Groove Metal at all.

I like the song. It's nothing groundbreaking, but the groove is excellent and that bridge is dirty. Only low point, I kinda prefer Mike delivery live...I feel like it has more punch and passion. I'm sticking to the 7/10 I gave to the live version, good tune!

 

I really like the song. The drum is just sick. Love it!

I like it much more than both GATS and UIG.

If the rest of the album is as good as Wastelands I'll be really happy with it.
