I usually don't like slow songs at all but this song... definition of the word epic. Both vocals and instrumental. Really good. One of the best songs i've ever heard in my life.

I've actually listened to a song from The Hunting Party more than Blake. I feel accomplished.

Does anyone else hear Depeche Mode in the music/guitar work? I'm not super familiar with them but this feels like what little I've heard.

 

I can use some help...or at least a "hint".

Its because I added it to a short playlist of 3 other songs (added a 5th so now has 5) and now Im watching Baseball. Im sure my listens will rack up later today

 

Yeah well, you still love "Until It's Gone" too.

 

Thats why LP is one of my top favorite bands of all time, they rarely make a bad song.

 

If there's a better song than this on the album i will literally die.

 

I get the feeling this song will work better within the context of the whole album, so I've listened to it once, and I think that will be the only time I will until the leak. My first impressions though are quite underwhelming to be honest, and I've loved everything off THP that has been released so far. It's a nice song, a song that would definitely fit on MTM, but I feels very safe and doesn't really take off. That's just one listen though, so it'll probably grow on me.
