These guys popped up on my Spotify the other day and really caught my attention. I was even more surprised when I realized it's bass-guitar.
Their EP "Out of the Black" is on iTunes.

Love these guys. My favorite track from the EP is Little Monster. They've said in an interview that they expect the first full length LP to drop sometime in August. I am hype. :awesome:

The song 'Out of the Black' is getting a lot of radio time here. They sound good and dig the EP! I'll definitely check out the full length record.

They're only a duo? I hear their songs all the time on TV. Not bad, really, although their "Little Monster" is being overplayed.

It's literally on MTV Rocks at least twice in an hour. Love it.

    And there's no guitar. Amazeballs.

There's no guitar in any of their songs. Everything you hear are drums, vocals, and a bass run through a pedal

That's funny that they play them so much over there. In the U.S. they're just starting to get play time.

They sound alright I guess. A bit too straightforward rock for my taste.

Gotta love the straight forwardness of the title! Comes out a day before the new Opeth album. 2 great albums, in 2 days! :D

RT. I discovered Little Monster I believe from my local Rock/Alternive radio station a while ago and I love it! Excited for a full album!

Not as straightforward as you might think. Like it's been said before, this is just a drumplayer and a bassplayer. Just 2 people that generate a full sound that, for other bands, needs like 4+ people to pull off. Can't wait to see what they bring with their debut album.

Yup. It's a talent in itself for them to make the music sound as full as it does.

Even prior to learning it was a drum and bass duo, I still thought the music itself was some really solid Alternative Rock. Better Alt. Rock than bands like The Black Keys or Imagine Dragons, anyways.

I'm kinda interested in hearing the debut but from what I hear it doesn't sound awfully different from your standard rock 'sound'. Who knows maybe I'll be surprised in the album.

Black Keys are blues rock though.
