Bourdon's Brumming

I am interested to know which album Rob has played his best drumming in. He is such a versatile drummer and listening to Easier To Run will tell. Post your views here

 

I'd say he did a good job on Meteora, but Hybrid Theory was good too .

However, the best way to judge him would be by his live playing, and I'd say he improved a lot in the last years.

As a drummer myself, I know how hard it can be to suddenly pick up a tune and plug away. But that is probably the greatest thing Rob has to offer. He picks up on anything. All you have to do is listen to Trac
k 6 in METEORA- Easier To Run to see that.

 

i think LPs drumming is one of there strongr points and he did brilliantly on both albumns

 

Rob played amazing drums on meteora & hybrid theory but if i had to chose then i think meteora is really good!

 

Rob has done great drums on both. I think many people have said Meteora because the drums were a stressed point in the making. Easier to Run was awesome.

 

Rob's drumming is more "raw" on HT, which i like, but he plays mreo maturely and complexes lotsa genres in meteora, which is even better. So, Meteora for me.

 

Rob did an amazing job on both albums, but I would say his playing is better on Meteora...you can really tell that he has grown as a musician...but I've always thought he was an awesome drummer...especially when you see him live! Rob kicks major ass.

 

Meteora too, it sounds like the same drummer with different arms, I guess I could say.

 

I'd have to say he did a better job on Meteora...the drummin' for Easier to Run just did it all for me.

 

I think Rob improved a little bit since HT. Easier to Run is proof

very good point.

 

i love the drums on all of LPs tracks... i love wat the band do with the song "with you" live. rob owns that and makes it special. however like everyone else said "easier to run" is fantastic. rob is one of my favourite band memebers so i might b a little in favour of his work.. but its all good
