Oh, we're going to have this conversation. The Ebola scare (at least in my country) can be notched on to the belt of the conservatives as another fear mongering tactic. "Obama is letting Ebola into the country." I could be wrong, I'm no medical or biology expert, but we with access medical care should have nothing to worry about.
Like anything, this Ebola "scare" is nothing but a product of the media. There might not be a sure fire cure/treatment for Ebola, but any First-World country has the tools to properly isolate and contain the virus.
http://www.cracked.com/quick-fixes/why-americans-need-to-calm-f234025-down-about-ebola/ I hope it explains it for you.
In Africa, a continent of over 1 billion, ebola has killed 3,000 people. It's probably like 100th on the list of deadly diseases in Africa.
Because news media is telling you to. The Cracked article puts it well in saying that any media source trying to make you worried about this matter is only doing so for the reliable profit.
I'm usually not swimming around in the bodily fluids of someone infected by ebola, so no, I'm not particularly worried.
Hey man, if you think I'm giving up my monthly blood orgy over a stupid Ebola scare you're out of your mind.
It's all just scaremongering. As long as your bodily fluids don't make contact with someone with Ebola's bodily fluids you're in the clear.
