Enter Shikari have announced details of a new album 'The Mindsweep', which will be released on January 19, 2015.

Speaking of the album, singer Rou Reynolds stated: “We pushed ourselves vocally with some of the rawest angriest vocals we've ever done as well as some of the most dulcet and delicate. It's even more diverse than normal as we've built more confidence and fearlessness to widen our influences further. Melody and aggression will always be an important side of what we do, but with this album there was also a concerted effort to concentrate on texture too. Alongside the core of our guitar, bass, drums, electronics set-up, there's so much new instrumentation and orchestration. Writing for and recording woodwind, brass and strings was so rewarding and really felt like it brought a new dimension to the music."

The tracklisting for 'The Mindsweep' is:

'The Appeal & The Mindsweep I'
    'The One True Colour'
    'Anaesthetist'
    'The Last Garrison'
'Never Let Go Of The Microscope'
    'Myopia'
    'Torn Apart'
    'Interlude'
    'The Bank Of England'
'There’s A Price On Your Head
    'Dear Future Historians...'
'The Appeal & The Mindsweep II'

+ They are shooting the video for the first single already.

I am personally not the biggest fan of their last three singles.
They seemed a bit weak and a bit too accesible for my taste.
There were parts of them I did enjoy but I hope they will go even more out their comfort zone this time around(like they do with every studio album)

Absolutely love it, got a bit of a Pendulum vibe from it.

I like it. Reminds me a bit of Walls from Common Dreads.
I just wish they would write two separate verses instead of them having the same lyrics.
Lyrically it is kind of weak, which is weird because that is the thing they usually get right.
But yeah a very fun and energetic track.

I saw em' debut Anaesthetist live in June at their only UK show (except Reading + Leeds), and literally everyone was sort of like "meh", despite it being a fucking insane and brilliant show, that song really put the mood down for like 3 minutes. However there's 30 second clips of each track online (you can go find it, I don't wanna post it if it counts as leaking music) and the studio version sounds fucking insane! Like literally 1000x times better. I'm really hyped (and I'm seeing them in Febuary!).

Also, the Last Garrison is jammy as fuck. I am so so so looking foward to this album.
