Man that video was amazing, pretty cool how it used YouTube's 360 video feature, pretty creative. Also, yeah who else saw Ryu's cameo?
I'm happy to see that Mike is now one of the pioneers of 360º music videos (with quality). The song vibe is great, but a little Kanye-esque. Good thing that we have Fort Minor again!
This is really cool, especially on a phone. I'm really bummed that there's not an album coming, surely he has some more demos ready to go and will put out an EP or something if this becomes popular. Imagine the 360 thing in something like Waiting for The End (of course this would be like 6X the VFX work/cost).
Well since I frequently try to find shinoda's shoes and glorious excess art online with no luck I decided to pony up the 150 for one of dem vinyls
Seems legit. I still find it strange that Chromium-browsers score differently, but there must be reasons for it (different implementation?)... The more compatible way then would be to just stick with Flash to have an identical platform, but this won't happen as everything already moved away from Flash... Still a handy situation for Google to be in, they had much influence on the whole thing and - to certain degree - bent it to their will, I guess.
Plenty of artists have, not to mention instances of its use in documentaries, short films and so on. For some reason, every single one of them claims to be the first and Shinoda is no different.
Really amazing. Showing all of my friends, even though none of them like FM. One of the coolest things I've ever seen.
That was wicked. At first I didn't "get" it when I first watched it, until I accidentally touched my phones screen i then realised that, that is what he meant with a 360 music video! What a noob! Amazing. Hope this is a start of a new serge of interactive MVs. A triumph compared to the disaster that was Lost in the Echo.
Imagine Lost in the Echo as a 360 video instead of the trash we got (my opinion). Would be cool if LP did a 360 video for one of their songs in the future
