Everybody's Fool isn't a soft song.. The most recent song that has hit me pretty hard would be On Distant Shores by Five Iron Frenzy. The bridge of the song just basically summed up what I was like, and what I needed to change. As well, the way Reese Roper sang brought out the desperation of the lyrics in the bridge. If anyone wants to look at the lyrics, click the below link: Five Iron Frenzy - On Distant Shores
Opeth - Harvest Opeth - To Bid You Farewell: Two hauntingly beautiful songs Tool - Third Eye: Puts me into some sort of trance, only Tool can do that! Dream Theater - Learning to Live: A song that makes you reflect on reality and motivates you. And its a feel-good song too!
Evanescence - Forgive Me Reason: Every couple has their song, and after me and my girlfriend broke up, I discovered this song, and made her download it. Even though we're not dating, we're very close, and this is *our* song. Metallica - Fade To Black Reason: First Metallica song I ever heard. Slipknot - Spit It Out Reason: The first 'Metal' song I ever heard. Got me into alot of the bands I'm into these days.
Now The World - AFI To The Moon And Back - Savage Garden In Winter - Kittie Burn - Rancid What It Is To Burn - Finch Forgotten - Linkin Park Blue - Joni Mitchell Coyote - Joni Mitchell A Favor House Atlantic - Coheed and Cambria those are all I can think of off the top of my head...but there are many others.
Staind - Mudshovel KoRn - Got the Life (first rock song I got into and it paved the way for the bands i like today) Dope - Sing
oops, well most of those songs were soft, and i cant believe this! I forgot: metallica- fade to black metallica- the unforgiven well now not as many are soft anymore...
Breaking the Habit - Linkin Park I'm Done - Korn Even in Death - Evanescence Suicide is Painless - Marilyn Manson The Unforgiven - Metallica
There are alot of songs out there that change how i feel at certain times. But if i were to choosea song, i would choose "Creep" from Radiohead. It makes me think about all the situations i have with myself and others i had during my highschool years. How i usually felt was reflected through this song. I can't help singing with this song. For me it mixes sadness and anger all into one.
Crawling - LP ... for having to fight my confidence and tense through life Pushing Me Away - LP ... for having to be the 'second-important-person' in everything Sleep Alone/Lonely Day - Electric Soft Parade/Phantom Planet ...for not being with someone Athenaeum - All My Life ... for not getting the rythm right whenever i'm playing it on drums!... damn! how to figure it out?... - all LP songs just represents that damn tension days of mine! 'coz i'm so damn fragile!!.. duh
I wish some decent band would do a remake of that country song "One Last Time" by Dusty Drake that was a tribute for 9-11. It's about this guy calling his wife from the plane to say one last goodbye. Aww.
