Complex has just posted a video of Mike and Joe discussing the band's debut album, which celebrates its 15th birthday today. In the video, they talk about the success of the album, the album artwork, how they began noticing other people's art being influenced by their own and much more. The seven minute video is a really good watch, and if you want to hear Mike talk more about their seminal debut record, don't forget to tune in to BBC1's Rock Show tomorrow at 7pm GMT to hear Daniel P. Carter's interview with him. You can watch the video below. What did you think of the video? It's really interesting to hear about the artwork and what their intentions were with it. Good to hear Joe talking as well - refreshing!
That was certainly an interesting video, I didn't expect to get those teeny insights into the cover art or about that radio exec who apparently signed Kid Rock. It's cool to see how far they've come since those days.
Nah, I think he was just trying to say that they realized that what they did started to influence others. It didn't seem like he was bragging to me or implying that they personally started a lot of trends.
That was a nice, solid chat. Especially liked the bit about the square brackets around their early-gen text.
