HÆLOS - FULL CIRCLE An absolute beast of a trip hop album. If you're looking for more Massive Attack or Portishead vibes this is absolutely what you should listen to. Drum work is exquisite, loud, brash and satisfying. 9/10

The Q2 list will include April 1st to June 30th, and so on. THE FIVE /// Q1 2016 01. DAVID BOWIE - ★ A beautiful swan song from one of the greatest artists of all time. 02. KENDRICK LAMAR - UNTITLED, UNMASTERED. The fact a collection of track that didn't make it on to To Pimp a Butterfly will undoubtedly be running for the best (rap) album of the year is amazing. 03. KANYE WEST - THE LIFE OF PABLO If you were to list out all the flaws this album has, it'd take you a while. Nevertheless, it's still an enjoyable listen whose incredible highs sort of manage to make up for the abysmal lows. 04. DE STAAT - O A sweet rock record that will have you head bobbing and, if it's your thing, bust out of a few moves. 05. DEATH GRIPS - INTERVIEW 2016 The walking, rarely talking madmen put out the soundtrack to their memorable, and highly informative interview, and it is sonically interesting to say the least. THE THREE /// Q1 2016 01. DAVID BOWIE - "LAZARUS" Along with it's stunning visual, "Lazarus" is an experience. Lyrically, melodically and sonically perfect, it is incredible what Bowie could do, even on his deathbed. 02. KANYE WEST - "FML" Featuring the one and only The Weeknd, "FML" is one of the most focused tracks on Pablo. Unlike the rest of the album, which is messy to say the least, this song knows exactly where it's going and what it's about. An amazing listen. 03. KENDRICK LAMAR - "UNTITLED 02 | 06.23.2014." Filth. No better way to describe it. I can't imagine what it was like for the producers of this track to know that godly beat is just sitting somewhere in Kendrick's vault for almost two years.
