Already pre-ordered the vinyl, and I can't wait for it to be released. I have really high hopes for this album. I will say though, I'm not a fan of the titles. I loved most of their titles from previous albums but these don't seem great. "Good Goodbye" in particular. But I still expect the songs to be spectacular. Can't stop listening to Heavy. Love this song!
Yeah I know, but with Heavy being 2:50, it's not very likely to have songs longer than 4 or 5 minutes long.
Theres also a rumor going around that one of these is an interlude so I'd say 1,5 minutes max so we have 8 songs left that should be quite long or else we have a pretty short LP album (shorter than usual)
Who knows, we have Bleed it out and Little things give you away, and The messenger is pretty much that long plus many seconds of silence
Oh, you mean like the "rumour" that this would be Linkin Park's last album? Also, War was 2 minutes long but it was featured on an album with several 5-6 minute long tracks. Bleed It Out was shorter than Heavy, yet Minutes To Midnight had a few lengthy tracks as well. But sure, let's spin everything out of control and believe an equally new rumour that One More Light must be short. I don't enjoy Heavy one bit - I think it regresses against everything Linkin Park has worked towards since Minutes To Midnight, but that doesn't mean I'm going to lose my fucking mind and believe these rumours that are just being made up on the spot.
I wouldn't be disappointed with the album only having 10 tracks, if it wasn't for the fact that the album is still two months away.... Quality over quantity, but man that sucks.
I think we've actually heard a snippet of "Sorry For Now". I think it could be the song that they worked on with Blackbear in the studio because in the video that Blackbear put on Snapchat we can hear something like chorus with Mike singing "sorry for now that I couldn't be around...".
My man, I do believe you're right. Well, we know Mike sings in that one, so that should be fun to hear.
Oh shit! I always thought he said "I'll wait for now" not "sorry for now." You might be right about that one. I loved the sound of that song since they released that clip. I'd love to hear it on the album. And I just listened to it again but it's hard to tell what he's saying since it cuts in just as he says those words. I guess we'll find out.
Guys, chill.. If it was not for The Summoning and Drawbar(well I think Drawbar is just perfect no complain),THP would have been 10 tracks too. War is 2 min and something so chill..we might get like one 5 min song and the rest could be in the lenght of 3.5-4.2 min long
Preordered the everything set, pricey as fuck, but I regret not getting the super deluxe A Thousand Suns bundle.
I personally see nothing wrong with any of these song titles. I'm very excited for the new record & Heavy is one hell of a fresh sounding LP song. With all those clips of the song coming together to hearing the final product... miles apart. The track turned out so different than what I had originally expected. It's Much different than anything they have ever done and that's all I ever wanted from this new record. It will continue to grow on me and many people who don't like it one bit right now will learn to like it later. People tend to forget this is Linkin Park . These guys know what their doing.
