Update: Warner Bros employee Adam has confirmed this not to be Good Goodbye. We still have no idea what this song is. Yesterday we reported that a Good Goodbye music video is set to release soon and it seems a lyric video is also being worked on by the same artist director who did Battle Symphony in Rafatoon. A few hours ago Rafatoon updated his Instagram story showing work being done on the lyric video and it seems he's actually playing back the track whilst previewing the lyric video. *EDIT* Video Removed - Due to this song being confirmed NOT to be Good Goodbye, we have removed the video to avoid fans accidentally believing this to be the track At first I was skeptical because this is very different and not immediately noticeable as Mike Shinoda. However it does fit in with what he's said about the song being totally different from the rest of One More Light. Shazam or SoundHound doesn't register the track and lyrics aren't on Google. It's also playing back in time with the lyric video with words that end on "so say goodbye". What do you think? Is this clip Good Goodbye? Let us know on our forums.
Okay I really liked Heavy and Battle Symphony but this, so far, this is terrible. This can't be legit.
Frankly speaking, I'm not so sure it is the actual track, because Mike told us he's rapping on this track, not lead singing. And, of course, there are a lot of tracks which are out of Shazam's database.
But to me it sounds like mike singing, doesn't it? He mentioned that is an ironical song and this sounds so awkward and ironic as hell
Guys. I don't know. The lyrics match up to the Good Goodbye lyric video being worked on. It sounds like he's going to say "So say goodbye" after his last line and that's the frame of the video. It's playing along with it. This was honestly hard to post as I'm unsure like you guys but too much pointed to it being Good Goodbye. If it's not then please find what the song is because I have no idea. It does sound like Mike to me though.
I see you're judging by the last thing wee can see on this video - it's the lyrics line, saying 'So Say Goodbye'. But we also can see a few seconds of the same video earlier, over the 'I can't help but see that...' lines - and it features no lyrics. Doesn't seem like the actual track in the video
I actually like it,I'm not sure if I would like it as an LP song though. I'm just used to hearing something different and unique from these guys and so far their work while not bad has definitely been done before. This clip sounds like an Avicii song.
Maybe he's not edited in the visuals for that part yet? If you can find me the song go for it. There's too much pointing to this being Good Goodbye not to post. I thought it was a random song too at first but then I couldn't find what the song was at all.
BTW, couldn't Lorenzo easily confirm or deny the authenticity of this clip? LPA is an LP Ambassador, correct?
I don't know if this is real and I'm not sure I'm ok with this. I mean I'm all for pop Linkin Park, but I'm unsure (but open) to sexy Linkin Park.
Is it possible that the clip is fake and was created specifically to trick people like the previous Good Goodbye clips? Remember, the vocals in that track sounded eerily similar to Chester's actual voice, and this track sounds less like Mike to me than the fake sounded like Chester. I could be wrong though considering the context that Rafatoon had previously worked on the Battle Symphony lyric video.
Jesse. This is from the person making the lyric video. I doubt they'd go to lengths to trick people. It could be a random song, sure. If anyone can find this song at all and prove it's not Good Goodbye then go for it. Until then it's obviously speculative. I have no idea either.
What i can say is that the song ISN'T playing from the render on the software. When you render like that from after effects the sound obviouly doesn't play, because the render doesn't happen in real time, it's so much more slow. The song is being played separately, that i'm sure.
