For the latest video in their "Good Mythical Morning" series, Rhett & Link collaborated with Linkin Park band members Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington for science - specifically, to test the effects that music may have on the taste of food. Shinoda teased this team-up on Twitter last month on the very day of the shoot: As part of their scientifically-sound methodology, Rhett and Link tasted various foods while Shinoda and Bennington were tasked with performing various songs in various styles, starting with an aggressive ode to hot noodles. The results of their experiment may surprise you! Check out the "Good Mythical Morning" episode featuring Linkin Park's vocalists below: In addition, on Rhett and Link's other YouTube channel, they've posted almost 10 minutes of post-episode discussion (including an in-depth "MMM...Cookies" retrospective) for your viewing pleasure: There's also a bonus video of Link with Linkin Park in Lincoln Park watching Lincoln park a Lincoln: This is not Linkin Park's first foray into Internet comedy. Most recently, they collaborated with Funny Or Die to announce some live shows. What do you think of Linkin Park's new musical direction? Tell us on our message board! Source: YouTube via @Alexrednex
The fact that they talked about Mmm cookies on this makes me so happy. Loved ALL of this. Some of these songs do instrumentally actually sound pretty cool as well.
I bet LP's old fans will soon start whining how the first rap-metal noodle song sounds so much better than the new album
Does this video has any part of the new songs in it? I've listened to Heavy and Battle Symphony only. Thank you!
So, officially, we have MMM...Cookies 2 EP and an interview about the original 'Sweet Hamster Like Jewels from America' EP. If it's not the best day ever in any Linkin Park fan experience, then what is it?
