LPLive is nothing but immature teenagers in their parents basement. I find LP Association to be much more mature.

    LPA is liberalist-progressist-left wingish

    LPL is conservative-right wingish

    That's how i see.

I've said it before, but in case you're not going through every page of the thread, get this album in the car and drive to it. It's SUCH a good driving record.

You gotta hand it to LP everyone. They took a bold step with this album and it was a fking great one. If they wanted they could have made another rock album or something LTish. But no they made a straight out pop album and didnt shy away.

Soooo... listened to it 4 Times now. And I am loving it! The released Songs flow in the Album Context. I like the new approach towards Song-Writing and Structure LP have been going with for this Record. It is a deeply Personal Album for the Band, which reflects in the Soundscapes they`ve created with this one.

Nobody Can Save Me is a superb Opener to the Album. Really Sets the Mood for what`s to come.
Good Goodbye is good. On Repeated listens, I like the 3 different Rapping Styles.
Talking to Myself: Just love it. The Vibe, the Energy, the Lyrics. Perfect Song, Imo.
Battle Symphony is just dope. Maybe it`s the chilled flow, but this Song really resonates with me on a personal Level.
Invisible is so, so good. Mike`s Singing gives me the Smiles, even though the Lyrics are quite dark, but ultimately uplifting and positive.
Heavy is a Killer Song. Love Chester`s Singing Style, and Kiiara fits the Song perfectly.
Sorry for Now really, really touches me on an Emotional Level, which really knocked me off my feet. Due to the Fact that I`ve been travelling a lot for my Job this past 2 Years, I haven`t seen much of my Daughter during that Time. Actually has me in Tears. Good one!
Halfway Right is another superb Song. Love everything about it.
One More Light had me Sobbing the first Time i heard it. My Dad died in March of this Year, so the Reference with the one More Chair really hit close to home.
Sharp Edges feels like a Coming Home Song.. Actually it reminds me of "Coming Home" from City & Colour, if not by Lyrics, by Vibe and genral Topic.

All in all, I love the Album. It`s a grower. I think I`m gonna love it even more, the more I listen to it.

    9/10

Although I like the album, I sincerely hope that THP was not the last 'rock' record of LP. We shall see.

To be fair, it has seemed to me like lpa has been somewhat hostile to anyone with a dissenting opinion. Not necessarily pointing fingers at anyone but its felt that way to me.

TTM is perhaps the most LPish track on the record. That's why most of the fans like it, myself included. Hehe!!

Chester's rap literally might be my favorite thing the band has ever done.

I had "Sorry for now" stuck in my head ever since that snippet from Blackbear. The song is everything I wanted. Never thought a song from OML would enter my top 10 songs from Linkin Park.

All around, One More Light is the perfect Linkin Park to chill. Something that I couldn't do with a Linkin Park besides ATS. For now it's my 3th/4th favorite Linkin Park album (behind ATS, HT and tied with THP).

Thanks once again for making great music.

I've not seen this at all. LPA isn't one person and generalising the whole website as hostile seems a little much. If you could give examples that would be great because I think discussion has been pretty balanced in this thread. You'll always get the odd hostile comment but this isn't exclusive to the LPA and from what I've seen it's usually directed at the people who aren't constructive or are deliberately shit-posting. Citing "dissenting opinions" seems weird as a basis for the hostility considering everyone has a different opinion on the album. There is no one true LPA opinion.

He surprised me with it because I was a bit sceptical upon first hearing that he'd rap.
