So, as far as i can see, even "neutral" people tend to enjoy the LP shows in 2017. Thats awesome.

Largely your own fault for believing they'd play With You, Runaway, and Final Masquerade when 1, I don't even know where you got that because I didn't see it reported anywhere, and 2, there was no evidence to support it regardless. You got full-length Good Goodbye with Stormzy, two of the rotating songs instead of one, plus a bonus HHH verse, and it was literally the longest show of the band's career.

    Some people are never happy...

No need to word it like that. You can't blame someone for wishful thinking if O2 says, "the band are thinking of going a bit longer tonight." Interesting to hear that it was the longest show of the band's career, but one could have interpreted O2's tweets in any number of ways. I thought that maybe they'd sneak in another encore or something. I don't know if I am personally as disappointed, but no need to make someone feel bad for being hopeful.

I don't care what they played, it's just laughable to add one extra full song to the set list and it call it longer.

Yes, technically it is longer but yikes. I don't blame the band though, because the band never said anything about it. I blame the arena who reported it. Made it seem like we'd be getting a 30 minute longer set at a minimum. Not 6 minutes.

Thats a good set length, hopefully it won't strain Chester's voice too much, which is what I was worried about with the extra time. I thought they would do this kind of set and the band sounds in overall great shape live. I'd love to go to these shows!

An extra 6 minutes shouldn't strain Chester voice, especially when their set lists are soft as hell this time around.

What, they played like 3, maybe 4 "soft" songs? Oh no, so soft.

Ya know, Chester could end up like Adele at the end of her tour, having to cancel a couple shows because her voice wasn't capable of doing any more shows, and she ain't out there screaming to nu-metal music.

Exactly. I'm not personally disappointed at all (since I only saw those tweets about five minutes ago ), but I can absolutely see why some people might be. It's not unreasonable to assume a "longer set" means at least two or three extra songs, or at least a tour debut of something the band hasn't played in a while. Yes, it was a slightly longer set, so I don't blame the venue for putting out those tweets, but to make fun of someone just because they expected more than one and a half songs from a "longer set" is just dumb. That's a completely reasonable assumption.

Come on man, from memory alone I remember One Step Closer and Wastelands which are definitely heavy

Actually, they were scheduled to play from 8:30 PM to 11 PM. Meaning a 2 hour and a half set. The general disappointment makes sense.

I guess you could say your two mentioned songs aren't heavy until the screaming bits either then if we're gonna look at it that way?

Anyway this is a pointless debate let's just agree to disagree

Late posting, but have to say this was one of, if not the best shows I've ever been too. Might even beat Projekt Revolution MK 08 for me, loved how EVERY song got such a good reaction, all the OML tracks sounded great and loving the new LOATR intro.

LP are on fire. Anyone who can should grab the chance to see them on this tour, they're killing it right now.

I agree and would go to the concert tomorrow if I had a chance (hoping for some late autumn shows), each song played is awesome (although I had doubts about the setlist) and the band is really pouring their hearts out on the stage. It was a night to remember, can't stop thinking about it.
