Not sure if we have enough fans here, but I'm so fucking hyped for their new album! it will come out next week. They already released 3 songs off it. and all of them are fantastic! (only live version) And their debut album is amazing btw, their most known song was in the FIFA 16 soundtrack, Trip Switch.
Nice to see this thread here! This band really is amazing!! Amsterdam is my favorite song but the title song is also interesting. Conors voice sometimes is unbelievable
Sorry for the double post, I listened to this album the whole day now lol, and I can't stop. Stand outs: - I Was Just A Kid: perfect opener imo, fucking banger! - Live Like Animals: the most out-of-place song on the album. he nailds the rapping and that breakdown is amazing - Amsterdam: the first single, it still amazing. - I'm Not Made by Design: another banger! I love the verses. - Particles: this one has probably the best vocals on the album (the piano version is better imo) - Number 13: this one is groovy af, pretty different for them, the chorus is amazing "So sweet, my beauty queen, ohh" If you are a Muse fan, then these guys are perfect for you!
Damn this album is really great!!I was just a kid and Number 13 are my favorite ones listening to it all the time since yesterday haha
This dude Conor is not a human lmao, incredible performance on every song, wow! Especally the piano version of Particles is mindblowing!
Giving a shot at the album right now. I'm on track 7 I'm Not Made By Design. The album is consistent as to the sound, the vocal performances could be a little bit better, but in general I'm liking it. I heard someone in a reviews video on Youtube say amazing things about the track Particles, so I have high expectations for it. Up until now it's a a 8/10 record with the least favorite being Amsterdam despite being the lead single. The ones I liked best were I Was Just A Kid and Broken Machine. I hope the album keeps consistent until the end. I'm hearing it on a Youtube video and the sound doesn't have a good quality, so I'll probably like it even better if I listen on Spotify. Definitely one of the best records I've heard this year, even though I haven't listened to 2017 music that much.
