It needs to be streamed regardless, i think Mike and LP will want it to be streamed. As far as friends go. Steve Aoki, STP, Grey daze, Jay z, Aaron lewis Johnathan davis
Here's who I think might appear: Kiiara Jay-Z Steve Aoki Aaron Lewis Jonathan Davis Corey Taylor Bun B Pusha T Tom Morello Chuck D Julia Michaels Stormzy Brandon Boyd
in terms of flight i was looking at something maybe around 300 - but at the end of the day it all bogs down to the ticket price
Gonna guess Rick Rubin is gonna be there. Don Gilmore maybe. Hopefully Jay-Z to do a reunion performance of Collision Course with Chester clips playing on screen. I think we will also see a Hallelujah performance, which is going to make everyone cry.
Jay has another concert that day :/ Perhaps Jared Leto? At this point I just hope they will have a lot of guests though since Chester and LP deserve the love and it would make it easier somehow to see as many artists as possible united.
nobody else thinks blackbear will be there? he was really broken up about this, he posted a lot about chester on his insta (he went to the funeral if i'm not mistaken)
I'm from the greater LA area so whether I get a ticket or not, I'll be there. I hope to meet as many of you as possible! We need to get all the ambassadors and fansites together!
Can't wait to see this. It's gonna be pretty tough on the boys but I think this is a good thing. Anyone expecting Stormzy.... well, don't. I saw him live the day Chester passed and he didn't say a word.
This is going to be on my birthday and it will be the best gift I could have, even if I can't be there. I will be celebrating Chesters life.
I'm so excited to see them back on stage, but it's going to be heart-wrenching to see them without their missing brother. I mean...that fucking new logo they have with the missing line is a lot to have to look at as it is. And let's not get started on the mother fucking video Talinda posted the other day of him playing that Beanboozle game or whatever....GAH fuck it. It's going to be nothing but overloading emotions for as long as this band decides to keep the LP brand going.
What are you trying to insinuate with this? Pretty shitty thing to do to try and make out he didn't care or something. Just because he might not have said anything at a live show doesn't mean he doesn't give a shit. He tweeted about it loads and retweeted lots of LP stuff at the time it happened.
So so so so sad to hear this is a Friday. I would fly to the show if it was on a Saturday. It's cool that they are doing this but I really wish special events were on Saturdays. And this is not just LP related. I feel like one of special events like these no matter who they are from should always be on Saturdays.
This a memorial tribute for their band mate and, really, brother. You can take the day off from work if you really wanna go. Have some perspective and consideration for the band's situation, for God's sake.
Agreed. All you needed to say @Blake was that you were bummed and could go if it was a Saturday. The last paragraph was totally unnecessary. Saying they should have "taken into consideration" people like you who couldn't get tickets for Friday I feel is kind of disrespectful and kind of trivializes what this show is about.
My post literally says "can't get time off" And I have nothing but respect for the band and their situation. It's their choice to have it whenever. I agree with that and I respect that. I just wish special events were on Saturdays. Just an opinion.
I, for one, just want to see the guys perform again. This might be a major hurdle they clear when it comes to figuring out their future. Not too sure if I can keep my emotions in check when I watch the actual stream (if there's one) or certain clips, though.
