Pretty much everybody agrees, the beatles are one of the greater rock groups in modern times.

although today with more metal bands around they may seem mellow i think they were amazing.

    what is your favorite song?

    mine is Help!

I love The Beatles. My parents have a lot of their albums and sometimes I find myself going through their cd collection and listening to a Beatle album every now and then. ^_^

Makes sense. My dad loves them though. I seriously think he can play the guitar parts for almost every song by The Beatles.

I can tolerate them. I'd never buy their CDs or anything, but when I'm in the car with my parents, I'd much rather have them listen to one of their Beatles CDs than some of the other oldie crap they have.

The Beatles IMO are one of the most innovative bands in rock music, and in 20th Century Music for sure. John Lennon and Paul McCartney didn't usually write complex pieces, but they wrote extremely passionate songs, and they were always breaking new ground in studio recordings, adding symphonic elements to their music and all that. A sign of an amazing band is a melody or tune that is so good that even people 50 years later appreciate it (Yellow Submarine, When I'm Sixty Four, Hey Jude).

I think my favourite Beatles songs are 'Come Together' and 'I Am The Walrus'. I loved their quirky songs

BTW: Paul McCartney was an AMAZING bassist! B)

I like the Beatles a lot. I do think that some of their songs are kind of bland but nonetheless they are awesome!
