Mike Shinoda is featured in this week's issue of Kerrang! Magazine and does a pretty in depth interview about Chester, grief, art, new music and the future. The magazine is available now but for those unable to buy it you can check out the feature below which includes some great images of Mike in the art studio along with the interview.
Mike Shinoda continues to be a great role model. What a genuine human being. At times I feel like we don't deserve this guy.
Thank you so much for posting this. I so wanted to read it, but the cost of the mag. with the shipping was too dear for me. Thank you so very much.
Thanks Joe for posting. He's an incredible human being, and it makes me feel so humbled that he sees the fans as such an integral part of his world, and now with such a rare connection, which nobody never thought could happen anyway. Despite the fact I never made it to an LP show or met any of the guys in person, somehow I still feel connected to every one of them and it's gone past the "omg new music" to more like "I hope they're doing okay", "nice to see they're having family time", "great that they're remaining close to Talinda" and things like that. We look out after eachother, and fans now look after eachother too. That's special.
Mike will always have my Support. He's my Idol & the Reason i started drawing few Years ago. I orderd the Mag online, so i need to wait a few days, till i can hold it in my Hand So thanks for posting
I really want to buy this book now: 054522750X The one Mike talks about his kid having, what a great thing to be teaching kids. Mike is such an awesome example of a human being. I feel like he is teaching us all how to live and we are all learning and growing from this whole experience, together. It's quite crazy.
Thank you so much for sharing this artical, I wont be ordering my issue untill the first when I get paid, have been excited as well as anxious to read this because it seemed like the first was taking too long to get here. Mike is an amazing man, my heart still breaks for him. It's good to know heis taking the time he needs at his own pace and not being pressured to hurry through his own grieving prosses. Thank you so much again for sharing this amazing artical. L&R
Mike, you're incredible. The outreach, love, and support from those close to Chester (and the fans themselves) has been nothing short of amazing. The way they've opened up can't be understated how important and helpful it's been to us. I see how strong they are and it's helped me personally have a deeper understanding and come to terms with his death in ways that I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. I've never seen a support system like this before.
