Oh sorry I meant to include solo/duo artists as well! I only listen to bands (exceptions include Mike Shinoda, Mark Morton, Jonny Craig, and Tyler Carter), that's why I put that in the title, but I really meant to include any musicians. Sorry for the confusion!

Hmmmm, I was thinking about this the other day and I am not sure I've ever come up with an official top 10 before. Even thinking now it was super hard to think of this and ordering beyond the top 2 are very much spots that can be re-arranged around depending on mood and day but #1 and #2 are 100% certain.

    1. Blink-182 with Tom DeLonge
    2. Kenny Chesney
    3. Linkin Park
    4. Rise Against
    5. Red Hot Chill Peppers
    6. Real Friends
    7. Taylor Swift
    8. Brand New (Never considered them as a possible top 10 band before but they have 3 albums in my top 20 albums ever so even though they all fit in the 11-20 range, this band has to be included. Yes, I started listening to them again )
    9. Oasis
    10. Chelsea Cutler(?)

So 7 bands and 3 solo artists. Honestly was debating if Taylor Swift would be in my top 10 but she's my most listened to artist/band of all time so how could she not be?

    1 Enter Shikari
    2 Rise Against
    3 Linkin Park
    4 Metallica
    5 The Black Dahlia Murder
    6 Converge
7 Between The Buried And Me
    8 August Burns Red
    9 Pantera
    10 Black Sabbath/The Dillinger Escape Plan/Suffocation/Gorguts/Ulcerate/Gojira/Meshuggah/Parkway Drive/Heaven Shall Burn/Sick of it All/Terror/Motorhead/Iron Maiden/Judas Priest/Anti-Flag/Descendents/Every Time I Die/Blind Guardian/Exodus/Kreator/Northlane/Rolo Tomassi/Periphery/Revocation/Sylosis/Dark Tranquillity/At The Gates/Insomnium ...

For number 10 I simply couldn't decide. Really depends on the mood.

Edit: forgot Architects! (well my avatar kinda gives it away) They're number 10. Rest is close honourable mention.

Their political ideas greatly influenced me as a teenager (still love their activism) and they were one of the first punk bands I ever listened to together with The Offspring and Anti-Flag.

My personal favourite will always be Revolutions Per Minute, but you can't go wrong with any of their first 4 albums! All amongst the best Punk records imo.

I can agree with the 2nd half of what you said. They were the first true punk band along with The Offspring that I got into. Even if I don’t like all of their albums it’s the one band that will always be in my top 10 even if they keep releasing subpar albums in the future. Their run from Revolutions Per Minute to Endgame might be my favorite run of albums ever.

I’d argue Endgame is a classic too. RPM and Appeal to Reason might be classic status as well. Their prime was just absolutely amazing.

    Solid list

    just missing Rose Against :halfkappa:
