Now that H&H is over - and that we all know C. is the GOAT . Few guidelines and recomendaitons : Preferably not including the intro, to avoid bad faith stuff Both numerical and tier rankings are welcome If you do tier, best to try being a minimum granular - like, not putting all the songs in S Tier I'll do mine in tiers. There are multiple songs I like about the same, and giving numeric placement for songs in such different styles seems a bit too arbitrary. The tiers are relative to this album only, they don't mean anything in the general sense. I stick to my opinion that all the songs are (at least) pretty good. S TIER: IGYEIH Overflow A TIER: Cut The Bridge The Emptiness Machine Casualty Stained Good Things Go B TIER: Over Each Other Two Faced C TIER: Heavy Is The Crown Notes: - All songs from S and A Tier are constantly changing in the ranking - Cut The Bridge chorus is the weakest part of that song, but the instrumentation and verses hold the song on a high ranking for me - Good Things Go would be higher if not for Mike's lyrics at certain points

S Tier The Emptiness Machine Overflow Good Things Go Casualty A Tier Two-Faced IGYEIH Over Each Other Cut The Bridge B Tier Stained Heavy is the Crown So far, still standing by my initial impression. This has been the most quality consistent album for me since ATS.
I wholeheartedly agree with this. To be honest, I had already accepted at least Mike songwriting had become hit or miss for me. Super happy to be proven wrong on this one
I still think Hybrid Theory is their most consistent. Meteora is my favorite because of the high points but HT is more consistent throughout.

I would like to add that my ranking is in the context of From Zero. In the grand scheme of things, I like all these songs, and the only LP songs that go to C tier or below are ones like "Figure.09" or "Somewhere I Belong"...personally of course (I feel like it needn't be said at this point).
Didn't want to double post in the Two Faced thread, so I'll put it here I think Two Faced may be one of the most important songs on the record. It's the one that embodies the most the idea of "Starting From Zero", sharing their root formula with the new members, proving they can ace it just as well as in 2000, while also putting on display all the fun and synergy they had while going through this rebirth - both musically and in the video. It's the song that links their origin with the present. It's awesome the record has a lot more to offer than a nostalgia run, yet Two Faced is really one of its core / essential parts. I feel the record wouldn't have felt complete without it. Anyhow, that came to mind today while giving FZ a new spin. Almost feel like upgrading TF to A tier because of it
