Interesting. Atlantic and Elektra have a lot of big bands on them... Staind, P.O.D., Blindside... there are a lot more, I'm just too lazy to find them.
I highly doubt Metallica will release an album that sounds like St. Anger. Hopefully they have learned from the criticism that it's not what the fans want.
Metallica is old. They made good music...back in the day. Now they're trying to be all new and hip. Bad idea
Music is timeless, Metallica are still amazing. St. Anger is nothing compared to any of their older stuff, but it still interests me to see what they will do for this next album. Metallica should keep writing and making music if they want to, they shouldnt just stop because they are getting older, music shouldnt be limited to "hip-cool young artists". As long as they have something to say they should keep on making music. Although, in Metallica's case, they could just rely on touring as that will keep things going for a while, but they dont want to, as they still want to make music and i can respect that.
They'll end up like KISS one of these days, playing 150 farewell shows, and never stopping. I shudder at the thought of James Hetfield, in an attempt to copy Gene Simmons, opens up a magazine simular to Simmons Tounge.
