Have any of you ever heard of Unearth? They're a great band. They'll be attending this year's Ozzfest and their new album is set to release on June 29th. What do you think about Unearth? (Like/dislike them?)

I recommend you check out their song Endless (located on their main website). It's my favorite.

Well, It was pretty good. The Music was awesome, but I couldn't understand what the hell they were saying! It has kind of a "Mudvayneish" sound to it.. Pretty good overall though, on a scale of 1-10... a definite 7.

I picked up their new CD not too long ago, it's pretty good, one of the better bands of this year.

Ozzfest's second stage is going to rawk. :kicking: The bands I like best on this years tour are: Atreyu, Every Time I Die, and especially Unearth.

As much as I like Linkin Park I don't think they should've been on Ozzfest either. Chevelle and Crazy Town were crappy Ozzfest bands last year (or was it 2002?).

I didn't like Unearth at all. Usually during songs, I like to hear some kind of melody/sung lines, and I just didn't appreciate screaming through all the songs.

I like screaming. :innocent: And plus, there is a lot of worse bands out there that all they do is scream (a lot worse than Unearth).

Yeah, you're right. I have heard worse.

If you don't like Unearth - then you probably won't like As I Lay Dying or Scarlet.

I bought Scarlets new album and 15 out of the 16 songs are all screaming - but I really like the album - a lot! :innocent:

I'm planning on getting Unearths new album - when it comes out. I'm wondering how their songs will be - since I've never bought any of their other albums before. :hmm:

Yes, you are right. I don't particularly like that kind of music either, but hey, what can you do? People are going to continue to make the music whether I like it or not. But I have heard much worse then UnEarth. A lot worse.. (Trust me)
