This may sound kinda off-topic but does anyone have a picture of Mark Wakefield? I have always wondered what he looked like.
Wakefield and Mike wrote very good lyrics together. I wish the story were the same between Chester and Mike
thanks, that was what i was guessing. i noticed that chester has a greater vocal range than mark wakefield on rhinestone.
Are you saying that Mike and Chester don't write great lyrics, If you are i very strongy disagree, And i also think that the majority of the people on this board will agree with me, Also, Could you please give a reason for that statement please.?

Team Bennington/Shinoda is way better with making lyrics that connect with the listener. No offense but I can't connect with any of the Xero songs.
Well..I have to agree on both parts, I think the teams are pretty evenly matched. Mike and Mar wrote most of the Hybrid Theory lyrics together, before Mark Left theband. When Chester came aboard, none of the lyrics that Chester sung changed all that much, but that doesnt mean he didnt assist Mike in the major changes that came of Mike's rapped verses. So...i have to give credit to Wakefield on most of those. But.....on Meteora....you have some...awesome lyrics in songs like Easier to Run, Numb, Somewhere I Belong, etc. Though not up to Hybrid Theory calibur, the songs on Meteora are still very awesome. You also have to take in consideration the songs like And One, and The Morning After, and many of the additional things on Reanimation that were written by Chester and Mike as a team. When its all said and done, the teams both did wondeful work together, and who knows, It could be Mike by himself, he is "The Glue" after all. (P.S. If you find a Wakefield pic, I would like to see it too. And, if its found, there should be a Wakefield emoticon created...>>)
Me neither. [/b][/quote] I've never heard any of Xero's songs before. It's so hard to search for their songs ...

I didn't think Mike had anything to do with the writing of 'The Morning After'. Isn't it a Grey Daze song that was never released?
yeah i can't connect with any xero songs. but i still think both teams are great in their own unique little way. but i know mike and chester both are great songwriters. and from what mark has done, so is he. i knew it wasn't chester on the xero songs but i kept having doubts. to me it sounds somewhat like chester but i knew it couldn't have been him since he wasnt even in the picture yet. but for some reason i kept thinking it was him. i dont know, sometimes i wonder how i make it through the day moving on, i'm also curious about the one called mark wakefield. i'm gonna search for him. i think he deserves to be recognized since he was orinally part of the band and wrote lyrics that they used on the first album.
Mark wakefield is the guy playing bass in the One Step Closer video, they don't show him much but if you pay attention, you'll see him
mark didn't played bass in OSC video..Its other guy... any way..Mark wrote lyrics for Runaway and Place for my head with Shinoda
Admittedly, two of my favourite songs - lyrically anyway. Must wonder who in fact came up with the ideas, songs may be co-written but generally someone comes up with the idea.
