Looks like a pretty sweet game upcoming for the PS2. It's kind of remarkable how the PS2 is able to squeeze out a game like this with it's primitive hardware capabilities, in comparison to previous PS2 games. I, for one, cannot wait for KillZone.
i dont think it'll be a "halo-killer." but from the looks of it, it could be a best selling game on the ps2.
Exactly my thoughts. There have been quite a few games that have actually passed Halo in many categories since it's time, and there have been plenty on their way.
I've been saying it since it was first announced: this game is going to rock. It was developed to be a "Halo Killer", by the way. The whole idea behind the game was to make an FPS on the PS2 that would equal what Halo did for the XBox -- even before it was officially announced it was referred to as a "Halo Killer". The AI is amazing, for one. The graphics are even more amazing than the AI, since it uses a unique layering system that really allows them to push the PS2. The only thing I'm mad about is that it won't be ported to the PC
Aye, I feel the same. I really hate the PS2 controller, and I'm not looking to buy a network kit for the PS2 to play it online.
I think Killzone looks okay, but i highly doubt it will be an "Halo-Killer", I'm not going to say too much because i dont really want to voice my opinion until i have played it. I think it will be a good game, just not upto Halo standards.
