Killswitch Engage is my favourite band next to Linkin Park and most people have never heard of them. Howard Jones is probably one of the best singers/screamers around so i think everyone should check them out. Some of their best songs are Rose of Sharyn, The End of Heartache (will be on the new resident evil soundtrack) and Fixation on the Darkness.
Killswitch Engage used to be one of my favourite bands until Jesse Leach left the band. They're still great and still an amazing band, but I feel that Jesse was a better vocalist than Howard Jones.
I agree Jesse was a really good singer. you should listen to his new band called Seemless. Its a really different style though.
I'm wearing my "Alive or Just Breathing" shirt right now, kickass band with a lot of unsung potential. I agree with Will, Jesse was a lot more solid vocalist than Howard, but that doesn't keep me away from the band.
I also liked them a lot more before Jesse left, but Howard is still very good. If I get a chance maybe I'll check out the new cd.
Same here, only i already have "The end of heartache". They have a poll on their site for the next single after the self-titled track, hopefully "A bid farewell" will keep being 1st...

ditto, I bought the OST for Resident Evil, and I was listening to it and I actually squealed...I never squeal. I love this song SO much.
I think Howard is also still in Blood Has Been Shed, maybe as a side-project, cause i think they have a new video called she speaks to me
meh, Killswitch Engage should be his side-project, IMO. It's not like their popularity is decreasing by the day. Oh well. Doesn't change the fact that Jesse is miles ahead of Howard, atleast in Killswitch Engage.
From what I understand, the new single off of Resident Evil edits out all of the screaming parts. Long Live Jesse. I would do anything just to hear him do one more track with Killswitch Engage (without Howard).
