They are both very powerful bands and i like all their music but the difference is i love Audioslave where as i just like Rage. Chris Cornell's voice is much better than his pre-decessor for Rage. Your thoughts??
Chris Cornell (Soundgarden) = Good Chris Cornell (Audioslave) = Not Good Rage owns Audioslave. Without De la rocha, they are nothing. Nothing can compare to songs like Know Your Enemy, People of the sun, War within a breath.
i think they have alot of varierty. I mean they are all at a different state of heaviness and all have a different melody
I don't like Zack de la Rocha's voice much at all. Rage's music is what got me into them. I try to ignore his voice.

If we're talking about the songs, RATM. If we're talking about singers, Cornell is a true singer, De Ra Rocha is most of a rapper, so... i choose Chris.
I would ahve to say audioslave. But if you were going form the Chris Cornell side, i would have to say Soundgarden or even Temple of the Dog.
