Who do you want to win the MLB Championship. If you haven't already noticed, I'm for the Yankees. Go Yankees!
I'm going for St. Louis as well. They've got Larry Walker. I'd like to see the Red Sox beat the Yankees for once, but not win the World Series. They always lose.
seems we agree on a lot of things, don't we? Although I don't give 2 ##### about Walker, I just want them to win because I live either in St. Louis or 90 miles from St. Louis depending on if I'm at home or college
Anyone but the Yankees, I'd love to see Steinbrenner's face when his $200 million payroll collapses. And I find it really interesting that each series are teams from same division. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ And an offtrack baseball note, I just loved how the Cubs choked at the end (being the huge White Sox fan I am).
I don't really care as long as the Yankees lose I am probably going to pull for the Cardinals, because the Astros beat the Braves, which is my favorite team, and I favor the National League. So I hope it will come down to the Red Sox and the Cardinals.
Can you imagine all the red if that happened? It would be one huge Communist gathering. [/b][/quote] Kinda like Joe Louis Arena during the Cup finals, eh? Oh yeah, that's right...no NHL this year. Yeah, I'm still pissed about that... Settle the deal guys...we want our hockey  My friend just bought NHL 2005...and we were both thinking..."Jeez, whaddya think they're gonna have on here? Street hockey?" :chemist:
im not really into baseball and all, but when I was studying at boston 2yrs ago , I got accustomed to all the sports their , so I would have to say tht I support the red sox, but thats only cause I have a soft spot for loosers (yes I know that sounds wierd )
We get two Boston-area news channels through cable (ABC, CBS) and all they're doing is over-sensationalizing the sport. Everything is "Red Sox". Weatherman: "Tomorrow it will be partly baseball with a slight chance of red sox. A high of 9 innings and a low of 26 strikouts by Martinez." It's ridiculous. And how they keep saying the Red Sox are going to come back after losing three straight, to win four straight. I guess you have to give the audience what they want, but it seems like overkill. Two boys could get hit by buses on the same day and the kid with a Red Sox jacket would probably get more attention.
Im with everyone else, the sox don't have a snowman's chance in hell of coming back to win the series
