oops yeah youre right either way no more don gilmore, if they want take the album in a new direction creatively dont put him back on i wonder how hed feel if he reads these type of forums
Mike would be a wonderful choice for next producer, he'd bring it back to the lp roots! And with the help of K. West, it would probably be the best album they ever did! I also think Mark wakefield should help'em out since he and mike did such great songs back in 1997-1999. They were the founders of the band ya know... The way i see it : HTEP>HT>METEORA>Reanimation
I agree but do they still keep in touch, like or even know each other now? Don't mind me I'm ignorant if this is WAY too obvious...is it?
I say NO WAY for Don Gilmore. He has done about as much as he can for Linkin Park if not too much. I honestly haven't listened to LP for quite a few months, the songs are just boring and way to predictable to me. I know some of you might not agree, but to me LP is just too bland. I guess I have just been getting into different styles. I just hope that no matter who LP decide to produce with that they let Brad and/or Mike & Chester do more experiments with the guitar. I really loved how "The Morning After" turned out and from what I understand Brad can rip some mean solos. I'm not trying to 'bash' LP in anyway, I'm just saying that its time for them to reinvent themselves.
Well said! And perfect timing! You also used the right word "reinvent"!! I think all of us agree with what Buster just said! B) Don gilmore made linkin park predictable and boring (Except for "hit the floor" it was very original) but i don't think brad can even pull off a 20 sec solo
I don't know, i just remember an LPTV episode where I heard Brad playing, but even that memory is very foggy. I just wish he could do more experimenting on guitars instead of Mike and Joe on samples or keys.
