According to Billboard, Linkin Park and Jay-Z sold 186,000 copies of their mash-ups album 'Collision Course' in their second week. This signifies a fourty-nine percent drops in sales, as the album fell eight spots to #9 on the Top 200 Albums charts. But on a positive note, this week's sales figures bring the total numbers of units sold in the US to 554,000, and makes 'Collision Course' LP's fifth straight successfully gold album! It could, but as much as the sales dropped from week 1-2, I doubt it'd make it to Platinum status. Plus you gotta remember, it only has 6 songs...not too many people wanna pay for a CD of 6 songs and a DVD they can pretty much watch on TV.
