Nobody wants to consider themselves a newbie so the way I see it, probably no one really looks at that thing accept for people who happen to join at the same time. I might be wrong there though... and the other and more important reason, I'm not a newbie to message boards and don't ask dumb newbie questions, I've been a member of the Metallica message boards for over a year and a half, so I know how to play the game -nice to meet you Meela
Well uh.. we have it there for a reason... Not just for new comers... It's also a way people who are just starting their commuting to the forums can say their "hellos." We're not judging you just because you're new. We were all new at one point, there's no need to take it all that serious, you eventually are not new anymore anyways. I think the LPA does a pretty good job in trying to make sure our members are greeted correctly and appropriately... But welcome, anyways! *moves to Newbie Camp for the sake of keeping things in order*

I know it is definately harsh sometimes at communities when it comes to new people, but we here at the LPA look at you as a member no matter if you're new or a veteran!
