Ok peoples- I posted a reply in that topic about the sucky dirty fanfiction. This is what I wrote: "Wait- so let me get this straight- you're mad at 1200techniques because she has a different opinion on your story? Well, I'm sorry, but if you consider yourself a writer, then you should be able to handle criticism. Never think I'm yelling at you- but I heard about this from the LP Association- and I think that people are mad about your story because they think that it's degrading to the actual people from Linkin Park to be placed in this story- even if it's fan fiction- because if people read this story, then they think that Mike really is like that. I honestly don't like your story at all- because this story topic has been used over and over again. You said you liked LP for their songs, not their looks, and I believe you, but once I read this story I started to question that. You don't seem to really have any credibility as a true LP lover, if you write stories about a girl sucking Mike off. But I read the rules for posting here, and it said that you can't post anything pornographic, whether its images or words. You seemed to pass into that porno realm about 8 chapters ago. I've never read LP fan fiction, and never will. Being a fan fiction writer myself (of course, I write nothing about LP), I know what would turn out when you place an inspired teenie in a room, with a pencil and paper (keyboard and PC, whichever). I mean, come on, how much of a fan fic can you write about LP?
hmm, im a little late in the conversation, but yeah, fanfiction is lame. i dont see whats so hard about making up your own characters. i mean seriously, you can keep the same creepy, poorly written story, but at least it wont seem as obsessive as if you used actual people/characters. i dont know, maybe im just into originality. slash, or sex stories in general, are by far the creepiest thing ever. sex is personal, not something everyone wants to hear about, its pretty gross.
