    WHAT?!

But Chester says "fistfuck" and everything! 'Collision Course' isn't edited! [/b][/quote]
Goddammit, this seriously sucks. It totally ruins the whole song. I hate Editing.

I suspect politics on Collision Course's part. Maybe Jay thought it'd be best if they released an explicit version so his fans wouldn't think he went all pussy on us.

    Very possible.

But censoring songs is a blatant restriction of art and it takes away from the song. I'm not a huge fan of cursing in songs, mind you I don't hate it, but I don't want gaps in my music either.

Actually there might be good news with the editing, the way they bleeped the cursing is they just flipped that word backwards, if you play the song backwards you can hear the word "fuck" quite clearly.

So with some work and precise editing, i might be able to reverse the bleeps and make it sound semi-normal. The music beneath the word is still forwards though, so it might screw with the beat, we'll see.

Edit: And remember, the live tracks on 2.0 weren't censored, just Dedicated was. So this doesn't really make sense to begin with. :wth:

Collision Course is also MTV property or something.

I haven't gotten my package yet but I'm thrilled that this CD looks like 2.0's. I love live tracks as long as it's worth it -- like the track featuring Jon Davis and Wish -- those must be incredible! And on 2.0, you gotta love that version of With You and High Voltage.

you would have loved them if they werent public for over a year. those versions are taken from the london concert which aired in tv and was spread all over the internet.

so except for the censorship i am satisfied.

I'm not an LPU member, since I don't plan to pay a shit load of money to get a few songs. I might just download 'em :paperbag:

That's illegal to be having the tracks up. I've seen LP sites that have been shut down for shit like that.

Funny, I thought Crewdy was a lot smarter than that.

Well, the full songs aren't up are they? just samples?

It's not illegal to have samples, correct?

iam not sure about that - you might be right but when you think about samples are just as bad as the real thing

Its okay to have samples. As long as they're not 3:21 when the song is 3:23  :p

Still, LPU is an exclusive thing. We pay money to get these songs exclusively. It completely defeats the purpose of signing up when you've got websites who upload the songs we've paid money for so other people can hear it. It defeats the purpose of LPU, and we have mnore respect than that for LPUers.
