the Meteora player hates me lately, doesn't work too well, the songs take too long to load up, but oh well.
It is exactly One step Closer. There is no difference except the lyrics are differnt. I mena, the soudns differnt and i think its betetr than OSC, but how the song is built is the exact same. Like in on step closer, how chester sings everything, even sings over mikes parts to the degree that you cant hear anythign he says , its the same in dont stay. i just wish chester wouldnt do that, ang let mike says his part by himself.
'Don't Stay' is one of the best songs I've heard so far. It reminds me of 'One Step Closer' a lot. It's even better when u here it live. I saw them on the 17th over at The State in Detroit. Very good show. Hopefully I'll be on National Teleivision! I'm looking forward to getting my copy on tuesday. Mine's already reserved!
I've listened to Don't Stay so many times and understood the lyrics now, i also have a video concept in my head that goes along with the lyrics just in case they release this as the next single
OK...is it just me, or are too many people comparing Meteora to Hybrid Theory....just to let you all know, THEY ARE NOT THE SAME ALBUM! Meteora was made so it would have a completely different sound then anything theyve done...and they have done a great job with it....Chester and Mike lyrics have become more mature and thought out and no one is overshadowing someone else. ok....Im done....had to get my rage out...thank you :chaz:
Why the heck does everybody thing Dont Stay sounds like OSC? To me, OSC was much faster then Dont Stay. Chester's voice also sounds RADICALLY different on Dont Stay as compared to OSC.
as i read in another thread i think it was said by one of the mods or admins.....get over comparing the new songs to the old, its a different album and they have matured
I didnt originally bring up that OSC was similar to Dont Stay, i just agreed with who started it. but people can compare it, i dont see whast wrong with that? if peopel recognize a similarity betwene songs, they shoudl eb able to voice it, i just think peoepl need to stop putting their foot down and saying to "stop this" and "not do this." unless your an administrator were all the same ehre and no ones voice is more important than anothers.
