Ok, I'm bored, so I'm listening to Meteora whilst reading along with Akuma's transcribing, and I'm coming up with few things, along with my Lying From You fix.

In "Somewhere I Belong"

I want to let go of the pain I've held so long

It sounds more to me like "Pain I've felt so long"


In "From The Inside"

Everytime I try to make myself get back upon my feet
All I ever think about is this
All the time and time between
And how trying to put my trust in you
Just takes so much out of me

I think it's "All the tiring time between"
I'm not 100% sure, but, I think it makes more sence in the context.

Thats all for now, I had others but I can't remember them, and I'd also like to take this opportunity to commend Akuma on his skillz of transcribing, he heard a lot of stuff I was wrong on.

Hmm... weird. It sounds so much mroe to me like "pain I've felt" and makes more sence in the context as well.

It would make more sense to let go of something you have held for a while, wouldn't it? I got a little confuzzled too when I listened to it.

Are the lyrics on this site confirmed? I just was wondering... couldn't someone with a booklet just check to make sure... considering many people have had it since Thursday? And you can hold pain, keep it inside of you

 

yeah, but why would you watn to let go pain you've held inside, you'd want to let it out, you'd want to let go pain you've felt more then held.

It's just my veiw, and no, they aren't confirmed.

 

Lyrics in booklets arent always correct. Look in the Hybrid Theory booklet, it has the Crawling chorus as:
Crawling in my skin
Consuming all I feel
Fear is how I fall
Confusing what is real

Now obviously they are incorrect. So you cant always trust a booklet.

Yeah, i learnt about "these wounds they will not heal" about a year after i got HT... :chemist:

 

well...
it's "pain i've held so long" (SIB)
and "all the tiring time between" (FTI)
and "and just throw it all away" (last chorus of FTI)
that's 99,9% correct
