Uhh, I hate to be nosey on this...but their website is rosewoodfall.com not therosewoodfall.com, cause if you go to the one with "the"...it doesn't work, so I googled it up and that's what I found!
About simplistic... Danny(the guitarist) is now almost cancer free. They are writing and recording demos as we speak and are getting ready to go into the studio. They will release an 8-track demo through Warner.
ive had the EP for awhile now. it is totally awesome. their intrument lineup is Drums (Dan Patterson), Bass (Eric Palmquist), Guitar (Jim Roach), Guitar/vocals (Sx Benjamin), and keyboard/samples (Joel Pierson) EP is: 1. The Game You Can't Win 2. Again 3. Bridges Under Water 4. Echoes 5. Bitter Pill 6. New York City Blackout They have some unreleased songs that they put on the site or on their purevolume player: This is My Ruin (very good song. used to be on their site) Driving Salinas (on the old site) Recycled Air (was on Purevolume player) Last Dance (hasn't been released yet) Pictures of Faultlines (great song! currently on Purevolume ) Coming up for Air (also on Purevolume) I know there's one more, i just can't remember it. I've been in contact with 2 of the band members by email because of my site. Jim and Joel both helped me out with some of the lyrics and Joel actually suggested the name for the site and sent me some lyrics to some unreleased songs. So, I think thats pretty much all I've got. So heres a few links: Their Purevolume page And the only place to find TRF lyrics on the net: Buildings That Never Sleep (my site. there isn't much to it right now because, well, they aren't really doing too much) (edit: woops, someone already beat me to simplistic, but that works) and as for Simplistic, I know their guitarist had cancer, and if hes better now, i would assume that he is still sorta recovering, or they are recording and haven't sent out an email or updated their site to let their fans know. but I'm definetly looking forward to their album.
The other song is "From Below Your Window" I think there are like one or two more that are also unreleased.
The first band Linkin Park signed was Simplistic when the label was still called The Shinoda Imprint. Then they signed The Rosewood Fall back at the beginning of 2004 when they changed the name to Machine Shop Recordings and then they signed No Warning before Projekt Revolution 2004. Simplistic has been quiet, though, because of Danny's problem with cancer. All should be good now, though.
They played at UCLA earlier this month on the 3rd and unfortunately I missed it. It was during lunchtime and there is no way I could get down there and back on time. Did anyone catch it?
