Linkin Park, Jay-Z, Ozzy Osbourne, Blink-182, No Doubt, and Jurassic 5 will be playing a tsunami benefit concert in Anaheim, California at the Arrowhead Pond on February 18th to raise funds for Linkin Park's Music For Relief charity fund, established with the American Red Cross just mere days after the boxing day tragedy. The band hope to raise over one million dollars at the concert, in addition to the one-and-a-half million dollars Music For Relief has already cultivated. Tickets go on sale Friday. Good luck, Linkin Park!

Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com

    Thanks to Kevin.

"Tickets for the concert are set to go on sale Friday, with a special pre-sale promotion scheduled to air Wednesday on Los Angeles radio station KROQ-FM."

And that's all that I can find...

A little more info from kroq's website:
Also, here is the site for the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim.

More information should come out soon, I presume.

That's great Linkin Park playing a MFR show only if I could go see it , though I'm sure they will raise alot of money for the charity.

    Way to go Lp.

Actually thinking about all this tsunami relief stuff, don't they have more than enough money from various other activities? I heard something like they have more than enough money they just need to start getting more doctors and such to help with the victims and construction workers to help rebuild stuff.

Not to bash LP, casue I mean they are doing as hell of a job and were the first celeberties to step forward to get a relief fund going. But I mean enough money already, its time to help out in other ways.

That's very cool that they're having a concert but too bad I don't live in Cali...oh, well. I bet the concert will rock! Will they televise it or something?

Very cool of them to help in my opinion, but I really am wondering how they'll get the album done by the end of this year... I really don't want to wait till next year!

That's very selfish of you. The band is trying to raise money for hundreds of thousands of victims of a natural disaster and all you care about is them pushing back the release of an album.

Could you imagine how much more money they'd raise by putting on a Pay-Per-View for the concert? Hell, I'd pay ticket admission to watch it...good lineup, good cause, I'll fork out the dough.

If their goal is to raise money, they'd raise 2 or 3 times more by televising it.

it's nice and cool to see them playing a show with other artists for MFR, that rocks!
in fact, i'm just wondering, the incident took place in south asia, why don't they just go to south asia and have a benifit concert?

Maybe they should make a live in Cali dvd and use that to make more money for their charity. Live in Texas is the best dvd ever.
