i heard there is aliens in the frozen sea.. delaying the projected and promised 2040..
but seriously.. as cool as it sounds to 'live on mars', you cant even begin to think about it right now.. its just dumb.. if it ever happens, it wont be for a long, long, long ass time..

yeah really. i dont think we advanced enough to send people there, and for them to have the basic things needed to survive. let alone communication issues.

What makes you think of that? There doesnt have to be life on Mars, and it better not be if we're gonna live there in 2040 or else it would be Halo 2.

This is pretty cool. They thought there would be frozen water only on the ice caps, but now they're finding it on other parts of the planet.

there is an atmosphere on mars, so the main thing we can do is just make a glass orb covering the landscape capturing the heat inside.. then plant trees so CO2 becomes O2 wich we can breathe.. so bassically not such a big deal. but the problem will be transport. it will take for a year just to fly there. to be more precise: 240 days. and we also need oxygen and food supply, so that's gonna be the big problem.
maybe we can send great capsules there, and then robots to assemble it all for us. and for fuel, if there is water, we can use that to create oxygen and hydrogen. and if the ground there is fertile. then everything will be right. so maybe another 50 or 60 years, and we'll be living on mars :teehee:

It's great that there's a sea there, but we shouldn't try to live on Mars. I mean when the sun explodes it'll take out Earth and Mars, while Saturn's moon Titan has an atmosphere, water (frozen) and carbon cells that might create life.

    LMAO!

You're not crazy. Water means oxygen which means life!
...we just have to process it and would take alot of money and time...

I wouldn't want to live on Mars, would be cool to visit though!

    Agreed.

The frozen sea doesn't prove there wasn't/isn't life and doesn't prove there was/is life. Finding that frozen sea is just one step out of millions in findnig out for sure.
