I'm thinking that basically it plays the file and re-encodes the sounds that come out of the original file. It's as simple as that.
Because whereas both are still illigal, one is a hack and one is actually P2P sharing. There are some people who don't wanna', you know, be arrested and stuff... That live in the U.S..
People share fake stuff. That gets on my nerves. I only use the newest P2P programs until they become mainstream, then I move on. Keeps the files fresh.

I couldn't find the plug-in. The link to download the plugin is just the main winamp site and I found no relevant results for searches.

Limewire sucks now. None of the advanced features are free anymore in 4.6. Greedy bastards. There's no good filesharing programs availible anymore.

[/b][/quote] that's why i have version 4.0.8 I think I got it from www.oldversion.com but I can't remember...anyway.. it works great and it's got some of the fastest connections i've seen in a long time.
